The Almanua Terroir Marítimo white is the first joint creation of Manuel and Luís Cerdeira, a wine that reflects the Atlantic influence of the Famalicão vineyards.
Produced from the Alvarinho, Arinto, and Maria Gomes grape varieties, it combines the fruitiness and floral notes of Alvarinho, the vibrant freshness of Arinto, and the firm structure of Maria Gomes. Fermented in stainless steel and special barrels of French oak and Portuguese chestnut, it gains body without the wood overpowering. With its marked acidity and captivating energy, it is a gastronomic white, designed to shine at the table.

Words can't express the brilliance of Butlers or the thoughtfulness, expertise and compassion of their team! Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
