Barbaresco Guiseppe Cortese 2017

£34.00 GBP

The aim of the Barbaresco was to offer an alternative in terms of positioning and pricing between the ‘grand cru’ RABAJA and the LANGHE NEBBIOLO, whilst maintaining the identity and reputation of the Cortese brand.

Giuseppe Cortese established his 20-acre vineyard in the heart of Piedmont's revered Barbaresco region in 1971. For the last five decades, he and his family have upheld Giuseppe's 'gentle hands' winemaking philosophy, carefully tending the vines to organic standards and combining traditional methods with modern techniques in the winery.

It's packed with dark red cherries, jammy raspberries, wild flowers and exotic spice notes. Go all-out Italiano and drink with lasagne, wood-fired pizza or something porky and smoky.
