This 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Tuvilains from Domaine Georges Noëllat is made by young Burgundy star winemaker Maxime Cheurlin. The small 5.5 hectare vineyard site adds distinction, creating wines of elegance and class. Its palate provides intense flavours of dark red berry fruits, cassis, and graphite with a forest floor finish. Cellaring improves its complexity, making it an excellent pairing with confit of duck or leg of lamb.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
