They have three own estate sites and three grower partner sites, all six have their own different character. The cooling mist sits in the valley in the morning, helping the fruit retain acidity, then the vines bask in the ripening sun in the afternoon, ensuring concentrated fruit flavours.
There are small quantities made of these delicious wines. The grapes are farmed sustainably, they use Burgundian clones, natural yeast fermentation and age them in french oak. It has everything you might want from a Californian Pinot Noir, rich, sweet, luxuriant dark berry fruit, oak spice and complexity, with a firm back bone of acidity, stopping it from being cloying. Lovely wine.
