B for Bink or Butlers, this is a new edition to our shop as the team are big fans of Cabernet Franc. This is a very naturally made beauty from Australia.
Belgian born Koen Janssens is one half of the experimental wine producing team, Yetti & the Kokonut. Janssens travelled to Australia in 2012 where he worked vintages with Jauma wines, Lucy Margaux and Spinifex Wines before creating his own Bink wines in 2017.
This is another minimal intervention wine from Janssens: 100% Mclaren Vale Cabernet Franc fermented in two batches (with varying degrees of de-stemming and whole bunch fermentation). The wine is pressed and aged in seasoned barrels then blended 1 month prior to bottling.
Blueberry and sour cherry fruit, fragrant with white pepper and herbal notes. Made in a structured European style, not at all green. Another funky edition to our range.
