The Galician DO Valdeorras (meaning Valley of Gold) is an ancient wine producing area where the Romans mined the land for gold and before planting vines on the land. Here, on the steep slopes of the left bank of the river Sil, Celestino and Maria Teresa manage four hectares of vines to make their Bioca wines.
Their white Bioca wine is 100% Godello. Lemon yellow in colour is it fragrant and fresh with youthful vibrancy. Flavours of stone fruits, green apples, citrus zest with a nose of almonds.
Refreshing wine with a saline edge, excellent with goat’s cheese, cod or barbequed sardines.
