Smells like luscious turkish delight and crystallised pineapple bashed with quartzy stones. Tangerine fruited with juicy white peaches, honey blossom, with a lifted spiced finish reminiscent of the steep hillsides of Condrieu. Though not, it's not Viognier. 100% Fernao Pires from one 51 year old vineyard planted in sandy soils on the Darling side of the Swartland.
Rich nose yet with tension and minerals, savoury hints and aromas of peach pannacotta with herbal notes. The palate is rich with a creamy mouth feel, white stone fruit combines with minerals and fresh herbs. Dry finish with mineral acidity and powerful, persistent length.
