After an interregnum following his father’s death, winemaking duties were taken up by son Jean-Marc who expanded the domaine via a white Monthelie and premier cru Meursault Bouchères, upgraded cellar cooling equipment, and steadily pushed back bottling dates, allowing the wines longer lees contact in barrel. These changes translate into wines which have gained density and flavour definition without losing the domaine’s signature fresh, zesty flavours.
