Old vines grow high on the ‘Reverdon’; the sandy, pink granite slopes opposite Mont Brouilly. The volcanic soil is poor but well drained and these hard working vines produce intensely perfumed wines with exceptional balance. The vinification process involves whole bunch fermentation, with only 8 days maceration, before 7 months maturation in concrete vats. The 2021 Reverdon is a beautiful cherry red, round and soft on the palate with fresh garden fruits and supple tannins.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
