Château Bouscassé is the original home of Madiran pioneer Alain Brumont. Alain has played a central role in bringing this corner of South West France to international acclaim, offering not only delicious wines but also excellent value for money.
Les Jardins Philosophieque is a blend of Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng, two classic white grapes from the Gascony region. Petit Courbu is particularly iconic and rare, making this a delightful find for lovers of fresh, aromatic whites. This white wine from Bouscasse comes from Pacherenc du Vic Bilh, which neighbours Madiran, they are often sweet, but there are small quantities of top quality dry white wines made, and this is one of them. These wines are still not widely known, the prices reflect this, but to the wise, these are brilliant value.
On the nose it's a riot of floral perfumes, intensely ripe pineapples and sweet spices. In the mouth you'll find it lively, fruity and full-bodied, but thrillingly pure and clean.
A brilliant food all-rounder, this will match up beautifully with any course of a meal.
