L’Alegria Bobal Cepas Viejas Arcilla hails from the skilled hands of Bruno Murciano within the DO Utiel-Requena. Renowned as one of the country's most esteemed sommeliers, Bruno, alongside his brother Jose Luis, embarked on a winemaking venture dedicated to highlighting the native varieties flourishing in their village, Caudete de las Fuentes (Valencia). Their trilogy of wines, including this Bobal, are characterized by freshness, elegance, and a distinct uniqueness.

Made up of just a 7.5 hectare plot, L’Alegria draws its character from established vines exceeding 80 years, thriving in clay soil at 900 meters above sea level. Embracing organic and sustainable agricultural practices, the grapes undergo a manual and selective harvest in small 10 kg boxes at optimal ripeness. Fermentation in old concrete cement tanks utilizing native yeasts then nine months in 500-liter barrels, culminating in an additional nine months of bottle aging.

This unique red stands as an homage to the Bobal variety at its most refined. Exhibiting characteristics reminiscent of a full Burgundy style with lots of rustic red berry and cherry.
