A special release from Firle's mixed fermentation experts, Burning Sky. The Saison du Fete was mashed with pilsner, spelt and wheat malts, flavoured with a subtle spice mix and noble hops. Fermented with their unique mixed fermentation yeast culture and then aged in former wine barrels for a year before bottling.
A crisp and citrussy beer, with underlying notes of spice and subtle yeasty funk. A one-of-a-kind beer but not too sour or wild tasting.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
