Cabernet Franc Seneca Lake Red Hook Winery 2018

Red Hook is an Urban Winery in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. It was founded in 2008 by Mark Snyder and aims to uncover and highlight the best vineyard sites in New York state.

Here they produce wines that reflect the climate, geology, and viticulture that make New York unlike any other growing region in the world.

This Loire-style Cabernet Franc undergoes spontaneous fermentation in open-top puncheons and is then aged for 18 months in neutral French Oak. It has a silky texture, soft red berry and bramble fruit, lovely floral notes with a rustic, herbaceous edge.
