This barrel fermented white Rioja is a blend of 45% Chardonnay and 55% Viura. It is fermentted in French and new American oak where it remains fior for 6 months on its lees. Just 5,740 bottlea are produced from 26 year old vines.
The wine is straw-green yellow in colour with aromas of pear, peach and hints of banana. In the mouth these flavours come through and are matched with the integrated new oak, which gives roundness to the wine. Good balancing acidity ensures the wine remains fresh and really enjoyable. A lovely style of wine.
A lovely perfumed nose followed up on the palate with ripe flavours of zesty fruit and a full
long finish. Fresh, clean vibrant wine.
