Gilles and Nathalie Fevre met at university where they both qualified as oenologists. They have a 50 hectare domaine all planted on the famous kimmeridgian limestone soil. Fermented in stainless steel then moved over the old oak for ageing. This premier cru takes it to the next level, a little more oak is involved. This is richer with powerful notes of flint and lemon.
Classic Chablis appearance, nose, taste and finish. Drinking fine now but would keep well. As white burgundies go, this is great value for money.
