80% Syrah with the balance made up of Mourvèdre.

A warm vintage gives rise to a heary, savoury glass with incredible poise.

This delicious red, from the Languedoc region in France. The Languedoc can produce vast quantities of solid wines, with rustic charm.

This particular wine shows how classy these wines can be when you have the right vineyards and are made by somebody with a gentle touch.

The fruit for this wine comes from a place called Prieure, near the hills of Pezenas. It comes from 45 separate plots, covering three different soil types, galets, basalt and limestone, resulting in a silky, complex wine. It comprises 80% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre.

It's moody, brooding, and packed full of dark fruit flavours, it has a firm grip, but also style and elegance. It is made organically
