The Salamandre wines are crafted by Domaine du Château Saint-Cyrgues, located in Saint Gilles, near the Camargue region, known for its wild white horses and French sea salt. Château Saint-Cyrgues, built in 1654 on the ruins of the Church of Saint-Cirice de Marge, carries a legacy of winemaking dating back to the monks of the Saint Cyrgues priory. Today, the Domaine continues this heritage, creating exceptional wines that celebrate the history and terroir of the Rhône Valley.
Salamandre Rouge is a deep, vibrant, organic Southern Rhône red that captures the warmth of the region with the finesse of Syrah. Made from 100% Syrah, the grapes are hand-harvested, carefully destemmed, and macerated for three weeks in tanks, resulting in a wine rich in colour, flavour, and body.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
