Chateau La Nerthe is one of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. They have been working organically since 1998. Loamy, sandy and pebble soils give aromatic elegance and structure to their wines. The natural spring on the Estate is hugely beneficial, especially in heatwave years such as 2019. This was an exceptional vintage for Nerthe despite the drought conditions. The grapes are estate grown, hand harvested and estate bottled.
A classy and refined white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Rich with fairly low acidity, this wine balances weight with bright citrus fruit and ripe white stone fruit flavours. Exotic warm spices come through in the concentrated and long finish.
Serve with rich, creamy fish and seafood dishes.
