Chateau La Nerthe is one of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. They have been working organically since 1998. Loamy, sandy and pebble soils give aromatic elegance and structure to their wines. The natural spring on the Estate is hugely beneficial, especially in heatwave years such as 2019. This was an exceptional vintage for Nerthe.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
