Guttierez Colosia Amontillado Sherry is light gold in colour with salty almonds and oaky spice on the nose. On the palate dryness is immediately characterised by subtle flavours of almonds, hazelnuts and a slight hint of oranges. Light and still fresh at the finish with a good balance of acidity and depth.
Colosia amontillado and oloroso are bottled with greater age and are also perfect for chilling. Following several years as a fino this wine was encouraged to become an Amontillado Sherry, averaging about 10 years old.
