Since 2019 we have been recording our own Butlers Podcast. It was my idea trying to do something no one else was really doing in the wine world at the time and it grew from there.

Our niece Evie does the intros and outros for us and Henry and I record them all on my iphone in one take.

We discuss wine trends, different regions or grape varieties, wine producing countries etc plus a few random things when I get distracted.

Mixed Spanish 3 pack

This mixed, Spanish 3 bottle pack was specifically selected for our loyal Spanish wine lovers. Butler's tried to pick out the best of the best from selected styles and regions! This is too good to ignore and will leave you coming back for more!

Francesc Ricart, Cava Brut NV - £12.75

Traditional cava grapes (Xarel-lo, Macabeo & Parellada) are picked from a selection of vineyards from the Penedes, 250 meters above sea level. The sparkling wine spends a short time on fine lees and is bottle aged for 14 months prior to release. Small, subtle bubbles, fresh floral scent with honey-ed fruit. Rich and elegant with white peach and bitter citrus. Perfectly poised, this is a wine with remarkable presence and persistence.

Alma das Donas Almalarga Godello 2020 - £19.99

Located in the Ribeira Sacra, Alma Das Donas Almalarga farm their 3 hectares of vines, in an area famed for its peace and tranquillity. Here above the river sil, on the perilously steep slopes of Panton and Quiroga, the grapes must be hand harvested from the 50 year old Godello vines. The soils are slate and granite and the wine is aged on its lees for four months. The resulting wine is clean with an intense mineral profile, beautifully balanced by apple and pear fruit and a creamy texture. A fabulous varietal which will rival a Burgundian of equivalent price.

Adega Pedralonga DoUmia Tinto - £22.95

Adega Pedralonga is a small producer situated about 10 miles from the coast in the Spanish region Rias Baixas. This region is most well known for the white wines made from the Albarino grape, it is interesting to try one of the few red wines made in this area. This Galician red is a blend of mostly Mencia, supported by Caina and Espadeiro. It is bright, not too heavy, and would work well if slightly chilled. It deftly combines berry fruit flavours with more savoury notes. It's an interesting wine, not big and powerful, but not lacking in flavour and intrigue.
