From organic farming, this Côtes du Rhône red AOP 2023 from Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine comes from a stony and clay-limestone soil for one plot, sandy and rolled pebbles for the second. Domaine Lafond wants to bring freshness and good fruitiness to a powerful wine from the Rhône Valley.
Deep in colour, with expressive youthful fruitiness on the nose - blackberry and raspberry - alongside earthy spices. Medium-full, with easygoing tannins and plenty of freshness make this a really drinkable style of Rhone red, that will beautifully partner a range of food, especially favouring grilled meats.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
