This biodynamic wine offers a deep, dark ruby color with inviting aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, and plums. There’s a subtle herbal note of thyme and garrigue, adding complexity to the fruit. On the palate, it’s rich and full-bodied with smooth, velvety tannins that give it a round, balanced feel. The fruit continues to shine through with layers of black fruit and a touch of spice, like cracked black pepper. A hint of minerality from the terroir gives the wine a slight earthy edge, complementing the fruit-driven profile. The finish is long and satisfying, with a lingering note of dark chocolate and a touch of oak. Overall, it’s a structured, well-crafted wine with depth and a sense of place.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
