Formed in 1959 with just 2ha of vines, Domaine Adrien Defaix has evolved and expanded to produce wine from sixteen vineyards. They own 8 hectares in the Premier Cru vineyard of Lechet, on the right bank of the river Serein. The remarkable stony soil is captured in this powerful and complex wine. The Côte de Lechet is one of the Premiers Crus of the Chablisian vineyard with the most exceptional ageing potential.
The Domaine practise biodynamic viticulture and use natural yeasts.
