Domaine Billard encompasses an impressive range of approximately 12.5 hectares, with vineyards across diverse appellations throughout the Côtes de Beaune region. Predominantly within the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, the estate also boasts small parcels in Saint-Romain, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru, Auxey-Duresses, and Beaune. A recent transition from father to son marked a pivotal moment, as Jérôme Billard infused the family Domaine with a fresh philosophy. Guided by a deep reverence for nature, the domain adheres to the principles of organic farming. The cultivation practices embrace a harmonious rhythm, employing cover crops and meticulous pruning to keep yields intentionally restrained. The vineyards stand testament to the labour of hand-harvesting, while the fermentation process exclusively employs indigenous yeasts. In a transformative shift, Jérôme eschewed the local cooperative, opting to bottle the entirety of his production under the domaine's label.

A captivating vintage, characterized by its beautiful cherry-red hue. The nose generously releases notes of strawberry, cranberry, and cherry. On the palate, an abundance of fruit unfolds, accompanied by silky tannins that embrace the palate. This is a treasure to lay down in the cellar, allowing it to mature gracefully over the years.
