Jean-Christophe bott took control of the estate in 1993 , he then converted it to biodynamics in 2002. They tend 15 hectares around southern Alsace. The Elements series is about creating elegant wines to pair with food.
The Grand Cru site Furstentum is a steep hill side at a relatively high altitude of 350m, with the terroir being full of chalk its the perfect vineyard for Pinot Gris. The 2011 is made to age so don't worry about leaving it a few years, Plenty on honeyed fruit but a subtle acidity and stone flavours.
