Caubeigt is a lieu-dit tended by fifth-generation winegrower Frank Lihour, who has helped put this sleepy region on the map with wines that sing with Jurançon purity and terroir.
Jurançon is a source of many incredible sweet wines that aren't well known to many wine lovers in search of some sweet stuff. They typically have more acidity than Sauternes, so offer more freshness than cloying sugar. The grape variety is called 'Petit Manseng' and is indigenous to Jurancon.
A seriously under-rated region, and a must-try for any wine lover.
