This is a 22 hectare estate run by Claire, she is often at the top or winning the awards for her wines. The estate was started in 1922 and has excellent sites including parcels in Echezeaux.
This is 100% Burgundian Pinot Noir, made with a technique called ‘whole cluster fermentation’ a process that results in a very vibrant and fresh style of red. Full of sour cherries, plums and dried herbs. Claire is relatively susceptible to sulphur and uses the product as little as possible.
