Domaine Raphaël Chopin is located in the town of Lantignié in the heart of Beaujolais, encompassing seven and a half hectares of vineyards across three appellations. Raphaël’s family has a history of cultivating vines here since the 17th century. The tradition nearly ended with his grandfather until Raphaël decided to follow in his footsteps and rebuild the estate in 2009. Born on the 21st November, Beaujolais Nouveau Day, you might just call it fate that winemaking was in his destiny.
Indulge in the seductive aromas of ripe blueberries, black cherries, and blackberries in this Morgon Charmes. This charming wine boasts a smooth, delicate palate with rich mouthfeel, fine tannins, and elegant notes of cherries and black forest berries. From the granite sub vineyard "Les Charmes", this wine is made from old vines, with a mix of traditional and carbonic vinification and aged in concrete, resulting in a precise and vibrant finish. Low sulphur levels make this wine a true expression of Morgon.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
