The Côtes de Provence Rosé is a blend of all the region's grape varieties, with Grenache as the main constituent, but includes Syrah, Mourvedre, Rolle, and an ancient, lesser known varietal indigenous to Provence called Tibouren.
This huge blend gives the wine wonderful layers of complexity, but don't worry, it's still quintessentially Provençal in style. It has vibrant red berry aromas, combined with creamy and spicy notes.
On the palate, it is wonderfully fresh, with a clean, zippy acidity that keeps the palate cleansed and craving more. Red fruit dominates but there's a lovely savoury undertone to it making it a great and versatile food wine.
It is of course very easy drinking by itself too.
