The doorly’s room range is produced at the foursquare distillery in Barbados. While this expression maybe a white rum is actually eight for three years and the colour is actually filtered out after maturation.
The Foursquare Distillery occupies the site of a former sugar factory that dates back to 1636 and, as one of the most modern and efficient rum distilleries in the world, is designed to be both highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly. RL Seale is one of Barbados’ oldest trading houses, a family-owned business whose involvement in rum-making extends from father-to-son since 1820. Current head distiller, Richard Seale, is one of the region’s most innovative distillers and blenders, and has a passion for producing perfect rum with great flavour.
This three year old white rum is great value. Its been aged in oak giving a creamy textured character and its ideal for loads of cocktails. Its got vanilla, banana and a bit of coconut and it doesn't get lost with mixers.
