Sourced from cooler vineyard sites in Robertson, Bonnievale, Breedekloof, and Wellington, the grapes achieve exceptional ripeness, resulting in a wine with vibrant varietal character, balance, and complexity.
This Sauvignon Blanc shines with a pale gold hue and a lively green tinge. Aromas of pineapple, gooseberry, and granadilla lead into a crisp, dry palate bursting with tropical fruit flavours. A refreshing acidity and a hint of citrus add finesse to the finish. Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
