These wines are very different to the other English sparkling wines.
They are made with minimal intervention and are a true expression of grapes to bottle. They are very terroir led as the vines are grown on chalk which gives them a salinity unlike many others.
They don't use any malolactic or oak in the wine making process, preferring to use extended lees aging and releasing the wines later than many other producers. They also don't use any sulphur at all!!
This is a Pinot Meunier rose, the first wine of its kind in England. It’s spent a year on its lees and we’ve also aged these for some time now.
It’s tasting superb! Fresh and delicate, floral with some red summer fruits, white peach and a hint of spice.
