False Bay is a winemaking project in South Africa. The winery is in an area know for it's complex biodiversity, so they have to be respectful of the surrounding environment. They adopt a hands off approach to wine making, everything is done very naturally.
Very smart varietal Shiraz, savoury but polished and seriously appealing. Dark garnet with a violet rim. Fresh lifted berry fruit that draws you in! Full yet elegant with bramble aromas and cream, cassis and black cherry flavours on the palate with structure provided by fine tannins with a long rich, ripe finish.
vegetarian/vegan/ low sulphur
Great house staple and loads of taste for the money. This wine has lovely red fruit which gives way to a structured tannin and leathery oak. Powerful enough to know you’re drinking it, subtle enough to drink it all night!
