Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is deep garnet color with ruby highlights. This Pinot Noir has expressive aromas of dark berry fruit, black tea, and dried cranberry with earthy nuances of oregano, spice and sweet tobacco. Delivering flavors of ripe plum, fig, orange and licorice this wine is bold; yet, graceful on the palate with supple tannins and a lingering coastal minerality on the finish.
Intense citrus blossom, honeysuckle, and tropical undertones of pineapple, calamansi lime, and passion fruit describe the nose of Cliff Lede's 2009 Sauvignon Blanc. The wider use of the Musque clone in this blend contributes to this vintage’s intense floral and tropical flavors. Subtle notes of marzipan, ginger, and tarragon add complexity in the finish complimenting the lemon meringue and strawberry guava base. The crisp minerality lifts the flavors in the palette making this wine perfect with spicy dishes.
A fine example of Russian River Pinot Noir from a top class biodynamic estate. Light in structure but packed with delicious bright berries and crunchy red fruit. There’s a touch of spice and a slight savoury earthiness, bringing the wine back in line with food.
