This is the result of our first project with Pieter Walser, it is a wine unique to us with our own label. This is hopefully the first of many to come. This is Pinot Blanc from the Stellenbosch region, this has been aged in oak for one year to give texture. The sulphur addition is tiny, and the wine is vegan.
Pieter swapped some Semillon grapes for his Pinot Blanc, because the wine maker wasn't allowed to sell them to him, hence 'Give and Take".
We loved the opulent, food friendly nature of the wine, complex, rich and savoury.
This wine has lovely elegant fruit, it's a fine wine, not in your face, it has subtlety. The Shiraz fruit comes from 105 year old vines. It's aged in old oak and concrete.
This semi-dry Vermouth is hand-crafted from a carefully selected blend of 40 herbs, spices and citrus peels each adding depth, complexity and interest to this delicious drink.
Semi-dry in style, it’s ideally suited to drinking on its own paired with strong cheeses, nuts or cured meats; or as a partner in many cocktails.
