Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. This vintage was one of Decanter Magazine's top five sparkling wines for 2016. Fresh and mineral. Gusbourne's flagship wine, Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs, is made using hand selected (predominantly Burgundian clone) Chardonnay. The wine is aged for a minimum of thirty six months on lees and three months on cork before it is deemed ready for release. Citrus juice and zest. Buttery toast. Long zesty finish.
100% Pinot Noir
The beautiful rose gold colour of our Blanc de Noirs comes from the gentle whole bunch pressing of Pinot Noir grapes (hence, “white of blacks”). Coupled with extended on-lees ageing this has created a rich, complex and full sparkling wine with mature autolytic character and hints of red fruit notes.
Sparkling Portugese red, bursting with fruit and vibrancy. Delicious with cured hams, meats and quality bread.
CHARDONNAY 70%, PINOT NOIR 30%
Wonderfully developed, nutty, leesy character on the nose with hints of caramel. The palate is rich, with buttery flavours, hints of croissant and a great texture, making for a very approachable sparkler.
Drink as an aperitif, or with smoked salmon and rabbit terrine.
