Franz Junior, along with his wife and children, have firmly rooted themselves in the family homestead, while his parents, Franz and Irmgard, have relocated to their new residence, adjacent to the Axpoint vineyard. The senior generation, however, remains fully engaged and actively involved. Together, they oversee a modest 12-hectare estate nestled in the southwestern region of the Wachau, a renowned cornerstone of Austrian viticulture. These vineyards are perched on dramatically steep and slender terraces overlooking the Danube, demanding an exceptionally labour-intensive approach to grape cultivation. Each vine in the Singerriedel vineyard receives individualised care and undergoes meticulous inspection approximately a hundred times during the growing season. This unwavering commitment to detail yields wines of unparalleled excellence, exquisitely reflective of their terroir.

The aroma is truly remarkable, exuding a profound intensity accompanied by a refreshing note in the fruit profile, coupled with a delightful richness on the palate. It boasts an abundance of deep, intricate spices, complemented by opulent fruit, all underscored by a pronounced mineral character and a pleasing salinity in the finish.
