The 2011 Rose Reserve comes from a unique assemblage of 4 different East and West Sussex vineyards and 5 different blending components of Pinot Noir and barique fermented Chardonnay. A small amount of Pinot is left to ripen on the vine and then fermented in the Burgundian style to give the wine its gorgeous colour and rich red fruit sytle.
Salmon pink in colour, soft, fine, persistent mousse, with notes of strawberry, red fruits, peach, nectarine and a floral touch of rose petals to delight the palate. A lovely aroma and lemony finish compliment the balancing acidity.
