Located in the area of Ugarteche and Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, known as the first wine region of Argentina, the family source their incredible Bonarda grapes.
A great example of an Argentina speciality named Bonarda, the country's second favourite red grape and something that is poised to become a smash across the globe. It has an alluring nose of vivid red fruit, a hint of violet and a slight roasted herb note in the background. On the palate it is medium bodied and soft textured with fresh fruit combining with subtle spicy notes from a period of barrel ageing. A lovely wine to accompany roasted meats.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
