Jeanneret Rank & File Shiraz 2019

‘Rank and File’ is a reference to Shiraz being the top grape variety in the Australian wine industry.  The fruit is harvested from low yielding, old shiraz vines in the Clare Valley and matured in French and American oak for 10 months. 

Dark and powerful upfront wine with concentrated black fruit and rich blackcurrant liquorice. Earthy and woody notes of cedar and olive, sweet vanilla and black pepper hang out in the background.  

Sturdy and dead satisfying!
