Ch La Nerthe have been working organically since 1998. The vineyards have a mixture of soil types and natural springs which lend freshness and minerality to their wines. 2019 was an exceptional vintage in the Rhone, despite the heat waves and drought which hit the region.
Les Cassagnes is made with fruit from 25 year old vines chosen from the most representative and qualitative plots.
Pale yellow color with green tints. The nose is very fresh and aromatic with citrus notes. On the palate zesty touches of lemon predominate giving way to a vivid but lingering finish.
This vintage can be enjoyed simply as an aperitif, with grilled white fish or fresh goat cheese.
