Luminous Hills is the name of the home estate of Seven of Hearts owner and winemaker Byron Dooley. Located in the Yamhill-Carlton District (within the larger Willamette Valley appellation) Dooley creates these exceptional Pinot Noir wines which are low in sulphur and practically organic.
The Very Special Reserve is a Pinot Noir, blended from selected barrels of wine made with their finest fruit from four distinct vineyards. It is only made in exceptional vintages. As they say, "it is built on qualities of finesse, nuance, elegance and the ethereal qualities we love about Pinot Noir."
