Magpie Estate in the Barossa Valley have gained cult status for their high level Shiraz and this I no different.
Lovely deep colour with berry fruits, spice, hints of cedar, some subtle smoky notes and liquorice. A fine mousse, the wine has some lovely bright and aged Shiraz characters on the palate. All too drinkable, will age for a few years, but ready to go. Bring on the barbecues, Asian duck dishes, cold meats and turkey with all the trimmings, or just enjoy as a really fine drink.
