This Port is from a great vintage and from a highly reputable producer. The 1985 is drinking well now but can also be kept for a few more years. A nose thats red fruit forward, notably redcurrant and raspberries, are complimented by a nutty and cigar box character. A developed palate with soft tannins and a freshness that's brought through with balanced acidity.
A lovely wine for the festive period!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
