The word Mezzogiorno, translating literally as midday, is a colloquial Italian term, used to refer to the south of Italy and this winemaker of the same name has been set up to produce affordable wines that are the best reflections of some of southern Italy’s most popular wines.
A full-bodied and fruity wine made from the local Primitivo variety, but maintaining some freshness rather than being too pruney. Ripe blackberry and plum fruit is complemented by hints of dark chocolate and baking spices, soft tannins make for a very smooth easy-drinking style.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

Great Wine/Spirit shop with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff
This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
