Enzo Pontoni is one of Italy's most famous winemakers, known for creating precise white wines. Drawing from the famous 'ponca'/marl & limestone soils of the Slovenian border, north of Trieste, Enzo has tended 10 hillside hectares.
100% Sauvignon Blanc with a vibrant, straw-yellow hue. The aroma bursts with tropical notes of papaya, lime, passion fruit, and grapefruit, complemented by a subtle smoky minerality. On the palate, the layers unfold, creating an almost overindulgent and rich tasting experience. Rarely do we encounter a wine in the glass that exudes such pure energy and concentration.
These Sauvignons stand among the finest produced in Italy, and Miani's global reputation is firmly established on wines of this distinctive style.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
