Moone-Tsai produce rare and remarkable wines, including the creation of three celebrated #1-rated wines in the world. A combination of exceptional fruit, terroir, and artisanal winemaking really set them apart in terms of quality and uniqueness.
The grapes for this memorable Cabernet were sourced from Soda Canyon located in southeast Napa Valley, known for its volcanic and granite-like soil. Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot sourced from a unique parcel enhance the wines structure and richness.
Ruby red in the glass and swiftly met with aromas of black fruit and rose petal. Fresh, focused, and direct, cassis, sweet oak, and a hint of cherry cola combine and blend with silky tannins and fresh acidity which is made possible by 18 months aging in 50% new French oak.
A nuanced and unforgettable Napa red.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
