Oak Farm, Lodi Zinfandel 2018

Oak Farm Vineyards is a family owned and operated estate winery located in Lodi CA run by the Panella family. They arrived in the region in 1936, and began an agricultural journey that ultimately culminated with the purchase of Oak Farm in 2004. Today, third generation farmer, Dan leads a talented team of agricultural specialists to build a diverse portfolio of wines made from estate fruit and selectively sourced grapes.

Lodi is an area known for producing some of the worlds best Zinfandel and we think this is an excellent example.  Big bramble fruits on the nose, juicy and generous on the palate. Ripe but not jammy, berry fruits with a menthol finish and gentle tannins.
