Oak Farm are again championing a traditionally Italian grape variety. This time a Barbera from the Lodi (Mokelumne river) Appellation, CA. The composition of this wine is, in fact, 87% Barbera, 13% Petite Sirah which spends 20 months in Barrel; 20% New American, and Eastern European (rest in neutral oak).
Deep in colour with deep creamy plum fruit, cherry and spice. Round attack, medium bodied and lovely concentration of juicy fruit and spice on the finish.
